Police Department

As your Chief of Police, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued support and partnership with the Lancaster Police Department. Our community thrives when we work together, and the trust you place in us is the foundation of everything we do.

I’m proud to share that the Lancaster Police Department is an accredited law enforcement agency here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This accreditation means we meet and maintain the highest standards of professional policing—standards that cover everything from officer training and ethics, to transparency and community relations. It is not a one-time achievement, but an ongoing commitment to excellence.

Accreditation isn’t just about meeting requirements on paper—it’s about ensuring our officers have the tools, training, and guidance they need to serve you with integrity, fairness, and respect. It’s about making sure our policies and practices reflect the values of Lancaster: safety, accountability, and service.

We know that true public safety can only be achieved when the community and the police work hand-in-hand. That’s why we encourage you to continue engaging with us—whether it’s by attending community meetings, participating in neighborhood watch programs, or simply stopping by the department to share your concerns or ideas.

On behalf of the entire Lancaster Police Department, thank you for your trust and partnership. We are committed to protecting and serving this community with professionalism and heart—today, tomorrow, and always.
